Raised beds and planters are used to grow fruit, vegetables and flowers. They are great for plants that need different soil types, and being raised means the irritation of damage from snails and slugs is minimised. The Raised Bed can be used as a decorative feature, and also to allow those with limited mobility to enjoy gardening more easily. They are available in a variety of shapes and sizes. Available in several sizes they will suit most spaces, and are a great alternative to pots. To blend in with our quality log cabin range, we use the same slow grown High Grade European Softwoods from reliable sources. Unlike many budget competitor products the bar is hand built using only the highest quality materials and  features high-grade 19mm interlocking planed and finished logs with a specially designed 4-way chamfered notch-joint system which ensures a tight fit so there's no visible gaps due to loose joints. Complete with a slatted 19mm log board floor, it's built to last. Beware of other log cabin retailers that feature rough-edged, square cut parts machined from poor quality timber! It is essential that this log bed is assembled strictly in accordance with the instructions supplied and ideally should also be treated as soon as is practical after assembly and then annually thereafter with an appropriate high quality preservative.
